International Conference on Laser Ablation (COLA), Maui-Hawaii, USA, September 8-13, 2019

The International Conference on Laser Ablation (COLA) is the premier conference in the field of laser ablation and applications. Since 1991, COLA has been bringing together laser scientists, end-users and industry to review state-of-the-art and next-generation laser ablation technologies. COLA is an interdisciplinary conference and the topics cover a wide range of scientific research that bridges the gap between basic science and applications / technology.
The 15th COLA conference will be held in Maui-Hawaii, USA in September 8-13, 2019.

ENERGY AND ENVIRONMENT, Nuclear materials under extreme conditions, Symposium K, E-MRS 2019 Fall Meeting, Warsaw, Poland, 16 - 19 September 2019

The Symposium focuses on new results about fabrication and performance of nuclear materials exposed to extreme conditions and radiation. This includes structural and fuel materials and their waste forms. A great emphasis is put on advanced approaches, such as experimental and computational multi-scale plus new fabrication techniques. One of the symposium organizers is Valentin Craciun from the National Institute for Laser, Plasma and Radiation Physics (NILPRP).
