Title: "Performance and application study of Silicon-on-Insulator pixel sensors"

Lecturer: Prof. Toshinobu Miyoshi

Abstract:
Using Silicon-on-Insulator (SOI) technology, several test chips have been developed. These chips are mainly integration-type and counting-type SOI-CMOS pixel sensors. The sensors are developed under multi-project wafer (MPW) runs in which many universities and institutions join. The sensors can be applied in the fields of high-energy physics, X-ray application, medical application and so on. In the presentation, recent results of evaluation test and application experiment are shown.
