INFLPR, through the Laboratory of Solid-State Quantum Electronics, is a sub-contractor of the Fraunhofer Institute for Applied Optics and Precision Engineering - IOF, Jena, Germany, within the LaGaMo - Laser Ignition for Efficient and Low Emission Combustion in Gas Engines project, September 2020 - December 2023. Partners in this German project are the University of Bayreuth, Bayreuth, Germany; 2G Energy GmbH Company, Heek, Germany and IOF, Jena, Germany. Between October 16 - 20, 2023, at 2G Energy GmbH Company, ignition experiments with laser spark plugs were carried out on an Agenitor 406 EG engine. A movie with the operation of the engine with laser spark plugs installed on four of the six cylinders of the engine is presented in the attached document.
