Secondary Standard Dosimetry Laboratory at High Energies - STARDOOR provide high quality dosimetry services of calibration and testing in line with EU requirements for generators of braking radiation and high energy electrons in different environments.

ISOTEST Facility

The scientific activities in the accelerators laboratory involve the use of two electron linear accelerators, ALIN10 and ALID7 built at INFLPR. These are research facilities of national importance due to their unique capability of producing electron beams with energy up to 7 MeV.
The goal of our research is to discover techniques and technologies based on the use of electron beams for the development of strategic areas of the national economy. Applications are in environmental protection, chemical processing, materials processing, medicine and food security. These two facilities are also available for external users who are interested in their own research projects or in collaborations with our laboratory. The linacs are authorized by our national regulatory nuclear agency CNCAN.

The activity of Laboratory of Solid-State Quantum Electronics includes fundamental and applied research in physics: processes of emission, amplification and control of spectral and temporal characteristics of radiation by interaction with discrete quantum systems embedded in transparent solids or with non-linear systems; selected applications of solid-state quantum electronics.

The mission of the Metrology and Standardization Laboratory Laser is to provide testing and calibration services associated to the coherent and non-coherent optical radiation metrology and metrology services using the optical radiation sensor.
